The region is home to number of golf courses for the golf enthusiast and the area also hosts various sporting events, such as an annual city-wide swim meet, which hosts over 400 swimmers. Visitors can enjoy shopping and entertainment along the waterfront, or spend an afternoon on a leisurely boat tour on the river.
